Generally, I think people would like to do more things to what / to whom they love. I have to say: I am one of them. Today I modified my guitar by removing and replacing the pickguard and the machine head tuner as well.  
I removed the pickguard with a hair dryer LOL. See the tan line left from the previous pickguard. The glue took me an hour to get them off and to make it smooth again.  
After that it became like this. With a red colour pickguard, but not really very fit to the rosette of the sound hole. 
Still can see a bit of the tan, just a little bit =) 
Then I removed all the chrome tuners away and left six holes on the headstock with a lot of white powder LOL  
It looks very luxury now with the golden tuner! I love it =) |
